A Carnival/Amusement license is required with the Department of Labor & Economic Growth, Bureau of Commercial Services at (517) 241-9288 or visit our website at www.michigan.gov/amusement.

Other Possible License(s):

If water is involved (water slides, pools, etc), contact the Department of Environmental Quality (800) 662-9278.

If food products are prepared on the premises, a Food Service License is required with the Department of Agriculture, Food Section; (517) 373-1060.

A sales tax license may be required if any products are sold to the public.  Call the Michigan Department of Treasury at (517) 636-4660 and request a 518 form.
