Renewing your registration by phone is quick and easy. Multiple renewals can be completed with one phone call - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can use this service if:
- The address is correct on each renewal notice. (If not correct, you can only renew by mail, or at a branch office. Clearly note the address correction on each renewal notice.)
- The owner name and vehicle information is correct on each renewal notice. (If not, you will need to renew at a Secretary of State branch office.)
- Your renewal notice has a PIN. (If no PIN was assigned, you can only renew by mail, or at a branch office by providing a copy of your no-fault insurance.)
- You have a valid Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card.
Effective October 1, 2003, you cannot use this service to renew trailer plates.
If all information on your renewal notice is correct and the notice contains a PIN, call (517) 334-9444* and follow the instructions.
If you would like to hear a demonstration of this system, call (517) 334-9444 and follow the voice instructions. You can listen to the demonstration and practice for the real thing.
