How does this program tie into other transportation technology?

The Courtesty Patrol program is part of MDOT's much larger freeway incident management system to improve motorist safety and reduce travel time. MDOT works closely with the Intelligent Transportation Society of Michigan - a group of public and private sector professionals operating on the cutting edge of transportation technology.
