Granholm, Cherry Issue Statements on Passing of Bob Weiss

Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today issued the following statement on the passing of Bob Weiss:

 "Bob was a dedicated and well respected leader who served the state and the people of Genesee County with distinction.  We have lost a sharp mind and a talented public servant.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Weiss family during this difficult time."

Lt. Governor John D. Cherry, Jr. also issued the following statement on Weiss's passing:

 

"This is a sad day for Genesee County.  Bob was a good friend, dedicated family man and a talented public servant who committed his professional life to making Genesee County a great place to live.  I will miss him.  My prayers are with his family."
