The Michigan Historical Museum is open seven days a week according to the following schedule of hours. Please note that the museum is closed on state holidays and other days. Consult the list of closings for complete information.
Admission to the Michigan Historical Museum is free, although there may be a charge for special programs.
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
The Museum Store, Lansing
Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
The Michigan Historical Museum—flagship of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Admission and weekend parking are free.
