Michigan Trapper Education

The Wildlife Division has been working cooperatively with state trapping organizations to develop a Michigan trapper education program. The trapper education student manual is now available for use. This manual was initially developed by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA). It was provided by AFWA to state agencies for state-specific modifications and incorporation into state trapper education programs. The manual has been modified to reflect Michigan conditions and regulations.
