The Department posts vacancies on the Civil Service Commission website. To apply for a position in DEQ, open up a specific vacancy posting and follow the directions under the section "How to Apply." DEQ requires all applicants to submit a cover letter indicating the job posting number, a resume, and the DEQ Employment Application (attached below). Sometimes additional documentation is requested such as college transcripts, a response to a specific question, etc.; this will be indicated in the posting in the same section "How to Apply."
Paid Student Assistant positions are also posted on the Civil Service website, and require a resume, copy of transcripts and the DEQ Student Application (attached below). For information about other student program options, click on
